Cut the Crap is a great place to change your mind. In fact, we champion it. So if you’re an inquisitive mind bored with business as usual, if you like people but snore at smarmy networking, or if snacks make you smile, this might be the place for you.
Unique speakers from the marketing industry and beyond. We don't announce speakers because a fancy title isn't a prerequisite for valuable insight.

Tragically, we love marketing and everything to do with it. And no, we're not talking about the "77 SEO tips to make you #1 on Google overnight" shit. We're talking about the fundamentals. Creative consistency. Interesting ideas. Effectiveness over efficiency. You know, that kind of stuff.
THERE'S TOO MUCH CRAP ONLINE
So we're a thoughtful filter. A plain-english contributor of the good stuff. If ever we land in the 'nonsense' category, please let us know. We love a good debate (and changing our mind!)
MARKETING IS A CREATIVE CAREER CHOICE
And frankly, the industry has gone too far down the 'digital-first, data-driven everything' garden path. So we're here to help us return to creativity and common sense as a core
principle in marketing and advertising.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT IS BROKEN IN MARKETING
Marketing careers develop inconsistently and erratically. If you bagged a good boss who cares, consider yourself one of the lucky ones. For everyone else, we aim to assemble a curious bunch of marketers and creative advocates who like to help each other.

At every event, we have two primary goals. One, that you'll meet someone you'd like to meet again, and two, that you'll learn something that you can apply at work or in life.
